Sue Petritz has over twenty years’ experience in family law. She is a Resolution specialist family lawyer with particular specialisms in Advocacy: Financial Provision and Children Law – private. She is also a member of the Law Society Advanced Family Law Panel. Her membership of these Panels confirms her compassionate, thorough and constructive approach to assisting and advising her clients by taking account not only of their needs and wishes but of the potential impact to any children and other family members whilst striving to achieve the best possible outcome.
Training as a collaborative lawyer enabled Sue to further expand her expertise and build on her genuine desire to assist families coping with the difficulties that arise from a relationship breakdown. The collaborative approach enables Sue and all members to help reduce any possible animosity in the resolution process. Within her career and especially since becoming a collaborative lawyer in 2007, Sue has seen the positive results this approach gives to clients and their families when resolving their matters.
Sue started her own practice in 1995, which is based in a rural location just three miles from Horsham and gives her the opportunity to combine her out of office agriculture and equestrian activities with her Family Law practice. Sue offers specialist advice on divorce, separation, cohabitation disputes and Children Act matters, as well as the preparation of prenuptial agreements, cohabitation and separation deeds.
